Abstract Submission Guidelines

Please review these guidelines carefully before submitting your work. All abstracts must align with the conference theme and comply with the following criteria to be considered for review.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to medical students, interns, and young doctors.
  • Work must be original.
  • The presenting author must be registered for the conference.

Abstract Requirements

Maximum 300 words
English language only
Submit as PDF or Word file

Prohibited Content:

  • No graphs, tables, or pictures
  • Title/Content must match final presentation

Review Process

  • Reviewed by an independent panel of reviewers.
  • Each abstract reviewed by at least three reviewers.

Oral Presentation e-Poster Rejection

Notification

Notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent to the presenting author by email.

Deadline for notifications

Before 1 September 2026

Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation

  • 8 minutes presentation
  • 2 minutes questions
  • Detailed guidelines shared upon acceptance

e-Poster Presentation

  • Prepared in PowerPoint format
  • Official TAMSA template provided
  • Content must exactly match abstract
  • Session date communicated upon acceptance

Publication

Titles of all accepted abstracts will be published in the TAMSA Abstract Book.

Withdrawal

Only the first author / submitter may withdraw an abstract. Requests must be sent in writing to:

Important Rules

TAMSA reserves the right to reject abstracts that:

Exceed 300 words
Do not follow guidelines
Contain inappropriate content
Fall outside conference themes
Submitted after the deadline
Late submissions will NOT be accepted.
